Summary: Selkosivut.fi is a service offered by TulkkausILONA Oy. This service produces accessible and easily understandable print and web materials by combining plain language and images. I have been working with TulkkausILONA and this service since June 2022. I have been only designer in their team. Since then, I have made following design projects for them:
Brand design included clarifying the mission, vision, brand tone of voice and brand personality for TulkkausILONA’s Selkosivut.fi - service. I also designed visual appearance for the brand. Brand design process started by facilitating workshop for company’s owners and employees. I used service design methods in this workshop. Goal for this workshop was to create clear base values together. I gathered results of the workshop into brandbook. Brandbook also included visual brand style guide.
UI and UX design included website's visual appearance for Selkosivut.fi. Since this service produces accessible plain language materials, the website itself had to be accessible and easy to understand as well. Using the website had to be predictable and provide feedback. With interviewing, benchmarking, creating user journeys and wireframing I was able to recognize the pain points and create prototype from the website. I collaborated with a software developer, who created the real website from my prototype.
