Tassutellen
Coursework

Summary: Tassutellen is a concept of mobile application that helps its’ users to find sitters for cats and dogs. User can also register itself as a cat sitter or dog sitter. This concept is a coursework made for school. In this task you had to pay attention to user experience and visual design of the application.

Problem: Where can I get a sitter for the cat during the holidays? Who could walk my dog while I'm at work? There should be an application that gathers all the pet owners and pet sitters in one place. Application should be clear to use, so there would not be any misunderstandings between owners and sitters.

Solution: Design process started with benchmarking and defining the target group. I took notes how my concept would stand out from other pet applications. Most important thing was clear user interface. All the most important features are located on the front page, so users will not miss any important information. Customer journey maps helped to get more information for user experience. I interviewed my friends with pets and asked what features they would need in this kind of application. Before prototyping I drew wireframe sketches and designed visual appearance, for example colors and typography. I used Adobe XD for prototyping.
